A gynecology vacuum delivery model is a
training simulator that allows medical students and doctors-in-training to
practice vacuum-assisted delivery (VAD) in a safe and realistic environment.
VAD is a procedure that uses a suction cup to assist in delivering a baby
through the vagina, often used in prolonged labor or fetal distress. The model
features lifelike female anatomy, including the uterus, cervix, and vagina, and
may include a fetal head model. Users can practice applying the vacuum cup to
the fetal head and applying gentle traction to aid in delivery, making it an
ideal tool for training.
