Using a ph
meter, you may determine whether water-based solutions are acidic or alkaline
by looking at the hydrogen-ion activity in those solutions.
The apparatus calculates the electric potential difference between a reference electrode and a Ph electrode. The difference in potential is related to the acidity or pH of the solution and was measured using a microprocessor-based pH meter with a two-point calibration. Manual Temperature Adjustment
