This apparatus features a wooden plane measuring 90 x 18 cm, with an adjustable mechanism for precisely setting the desired angle. It includes a frictionless pulley, linear and circular scales, a pan, a wheeled trolley, and a set of eight slide drawers with different material bottoms.

Experimental Objective

To measure the coefficient of static and kinetic friction between a block and inclined plane and to examine the relationship between plane’s angle and its mechanical efficiency.
