A huge metal trolley with detachable cylindrical weights is outfitted with wheels that drive smoothly on a track of two steel rods 150 cm long. The rail rods are secured in place by massive clamps fitting into two vertical rods set on cast iron feet. A steel vibrator is attached to one of the vertical rods, and a frictionless pulley is attached to the other. The gadget can test the law under various settings and comes with a cable, scale pan, brush, and ink.
