This setup features a tubular compression balance that rotates around an axis fixed to a sturdy base. It includes a tie chain fitted with a 10 kg extension balance and an adjustable angle bracket. Supplied with a 1.2-meter jib and mounted on a wooden base, it is provided without weights.

Experimental Objective

• To find out the forces in the Jib and tie of a Jib crane and to draw the force diagram for different loads.
• Also calculate the percentage error between the calculated and observed values.
