A self-contained all-metal contraption suitable for illustrating the effectiveness of worm and wheel as well as the theory of works. Machine cut worm gear of 25 cm diameter carrying a metal drum of 12 cm diameter and machine cut worm on steel spindle carrying a pulley of 12 cm diameter. The entire structure is supported by a hefty cast iron bracket that may be used as a wall. Complete with pulley, rope, and hooks but no weights.
