The local velocity is determined at a specific location in the flow stress using a Pitot tube. A copper/SS Pitot tube of standard design is provided and mounted below the Vernier scale. The position of the Pitot tube in a clear pipe segment can be measured using the Vernier scale. A flow control valve is installed in the pipe to manage the flow. The velocity head is measured using a U-tube manometer that is offered. Present A sump tank, a centrifugal pump, and other features are included in the setup, which is a self-contained water recirculation machine. In the water pipe, flow control and bypass valves are installed to allow for the experiment's various flow rates. A measuring tank and stopwatch are used to determine the water flow rate.
