The
experimental flume operates with a closed water circuit. The experimental
section has a cross-sectional size of 86x300mm and is 2.5m long, but it can be
extended to 5m using an extension element. The side walls of the section are
made of tempered glass, offering clear visibility for observing the
experiments. All parts that come in contact with water are made from
corrosion-resistant materials like stainless steel and glass reinforced
plastic. The inlet is designed to ensure that water flows into the experimental
section with minimal turbulence. The flume's incline can be easily adjusted,
allowing for the simulation of different slopes and the creation of a uniform
flow at a consistent discharge depth. A variety of models, such as weirs,
piers, flow measuring flumes, and a wave generator, are available as
accessories, ensuring a wide range of possible experiments. These models can be
quickly and securely bolted to the bottom of the experimental section.
Specifications
