The equipment is made up of a strong base frame and comes with Channel, Equal Angle, Semicircle, and Z-Section. There is a standard length for each of the four sections in M. S. Each has an end clamp that can be fixed to the rigid bracket. The load can be moved using a unique load hanger, allowing two dial gauges to establish the vertical plane of the shear centre for the specific segment.
