The stiffness modulus of a metallic specimen can be determined through a torsion test. By applying the torsion equation to the observations made during the experiment, the value of the rigidity modulus can be calculated.

·        Twist Meter – for accurately measuring the angle of twist

·        Steel Rule – for linear measurements

·        Vernier Caliper or Micrometer – for precise diameter and dimension measurements
