The
apparatus features a cantilever beam made of an angle measuring 1" x
1" x 1/8" (or 80 cm in the corresponding metric measurements). The
beam is clamped in place, allowing its major axis to be inclined at any angle
relative to the horizontal and vertical planes. The beam is locked at one end,
enabling rotation at intervals of 45°. Additionally, a setup is provided to
apply a vertical load to the free end of the cantilever and measure its
horizontal and vertical deflection. The tool comes with a dial gauge featuring
a magnetic base for precise measurement.
Experimental Objective
To
study the behavior of a cantilever beam under symmetrical and unsymmetrical
bending.
Using a Dial gauge shown a increasing and decreasing of heights
