This motorized device features a SUN gear mounted on the input shaft. The system includes an annular gear and two planet gears that mesh together. These planet gears are connected to a common arm, which is linked to an output shaft. A loading arrangement is provided to apply load to the system and measure the holding torque effectively.

• To measure epicyclical gear ratio between Input shaft and Output shaft.
• To measure epicyclical gear ratio between Input shaft and holding drum.
• To measure Input torque, Holding torque and Output torque.
