The apparatus features a rotor mounted on bearings, allowing it to rotate freely around three distinct axes: its own axis of spin, the axis of precession, and the axis of gyroscopic couple. The rotor is connected to a variable speed motor, which enables precise control over its rotation. To maintain balance, the weight of the motor is counteracted by an equal weight on the opposite side of the rotor. Additionally, weights can be placed on the weight platform to apply torque to the rotor, thereby generating a gyroscopic couple.
