This bench mounted Static Dynamic Balancing Apparatus is designed to balance rotating mass systems. It consists of a stainless steel shaft fixed within a rectangular frame. The apparatus includes four blocks with a clamping setup, where each block can be fixed separately on the shaft for static balancing. The weight of each block is measured using the cord and container method by counting the number of steel balls. For dynamic balancing, a moment polygon is drawn using the relative weights, and the angular and axial positions of the blocks are determined. A motor rotates the shaft with the attached blocks to test the system’s dynamic balance. The setup includes angular and longitudinal scales and is suspended by chains for accurate dynamic balancing.
