The test rig includes a single-stage air compressor, an orifice air tank, pressure gauges, an energy meter to monitor input, and a temperature indicator to detect temperatures at various locations. The compressor is situated on an air receiver with the motor and contains a pressure switch and an air relief valve (safety). At various discharge pressures, the device estimates isothermal and volumetric efficiency.
