These resistance boxes designed to provide more accuracy over the plug type resistance boxes. Decade resistance box consists of decade switches with resistors. Each decade switch has 1 - 10 positions in addition to zero position. Resistance Coils are non-inductively wound selected  Constantan wire. All the decades are housed in metallic /wooden rugged casing and are provided with knobs having ribs for comfortable operation with insulated panel plate fitted with 4 mm output sockets terminals. Accuracy is brought within the field ± 0.1%  for Constantan coils.
