This  compact fully solid state instrument which produces  an intense beam of light at a wavelength of 630 -670 nm enclosed in a metallic case having 25mm diameter and 50mm length and mounted on stem rod so that it can be held conveniently in a rigid mount or for attaching it to various assemblies provided with power supply , Operating voltage 230 volts, AC Optical Power 3mW.

The beam profile of diode laser is elliptical shape with dimension nearly 6mm x 3mm. It produces coherent projection of light in the visible to infrared range. It consists of a laser diode along with collimated beam condition.
