Comprising of  telescope  that is mounted on a sturdy stand with a steel C.P. rod of 45cm long and 12mm dia  which is attached to a sturdy  base with up down motion . The telescope tube is fitted with an achromatic objective of 25 mm aperture and 17.5 cm focal length which is optimal given the operating distance of the telescope from the object. Ramsden Eye-piece  10x magnification with 900 gross line graticule is used. Focusing arrangement is provided through a rack & pinion arrangement allowing focus from zero to infinity. Supplied with perspex scale and its holder.
