This single slit works well in the analysis study of diffraction patterns of various light sources. Our slit has sharp metallic knife edges to ensure proper diffraction pattern without disturbances with accurate fine movement. The width of the slit window is adjustable using thumb screw  fitted at the mount end or by micrometers, mounted on stem rod for attaching it to various assemblies. The slim profile of the mount makes it ideal for use with compact optical assemblies.
