This Centrifugal Force Kit is an interactive physics demonstration apparatus used to show the relationship between centrifugal force, radius, and velocity. It helps students understand the outward effect observed in rotating systems through three practical demonstration modules.
The first module consists of flexible steel hoops mounted on a slidable axle. When the device is rotated, the hoops flatten into elliptical shapes, showing the effect of rotation. The second module includes vertically suspended test tubes filled with water; during rotation, the test tubes become horizontal and the water does not spill, demonstrating the effect of centrifugal force. The third module consists of two adjustable MS balls mounted on a horizontal rod fixed to the axle. When rotated, the balls move away from the centre , clearly showing the effect of radius and rotational speed.
This kit is suitable for demonstrating rotational motion and centrifugal force concepts in schools, colleges, and educational physics laboratories.
