Flywheel is a precision rotating mechanical instrument used to store rotational energy, making it ideal for experiments related to moment of inertia. This model features a robust metal flywheel of approximately 20 cm diameter with a 4.4 cm wide rim, accurately machined and dynamically balanced for smooth rotation. The wheel is mounted on a horizontal steel shaft supported by high-quality ball bearings fitted to strong iron brackets, ensuring minimal friction and stable operation.

A permanent reference mark on the wheel and a fixed pointer on the bracket allow users to count revolutions with precision. The assembly includes a diametric hole on the shaft for attaching a pin and cord, enabling torque application during experiments. The base is designed with four mounting holes, allowing the apparatus to be securely fixed to a wall or bench. Supplied complete with cord and hook.
