This Inclined Plane Apparatus – Metal is a durable mechanics laboratory apparatus used to demonstrate motion on an inclined surface, frictional force, and the relationship between applied force and angle of inclination. Its metal construction provides better stability and long-lasting performance for regular classroom and laboratory use.

The apparatus is fitted with a sturdy metal base and a wooden inclined plane connected through a hinge mechanism. The plane can be adjusted and clamped at any required angle between 0° and 45°, allowing students to perform experiments at different inclinations. Built-in linear and arc scales help measure vertical displacement, angle of inclination, and distance from the hinge accurately.
