This apparatus is not only simple to use but also very efficient in its performance. The design of this apparatus  uses a manometer to determine the pressure of the liquid and then use it to calculate its viscosity. Capillary tube of fine bore is fitted on a wooden board with leavening  screws. The two ends of the capillary are joined by rubber tubing to two upright L-shaped glass tubes fitted alongside a scale forms the manometer. Glass parts are made from borosilicate  glass. With the help of a pinch cock, a steady flow of water is maintained. Supplied with a three limbed metal constant level tank on stand  and capillary tube.
