Young’s Modulus Apparatus – Searle’s Method (Brass Frame) is a high-quality precision instrument designed for determining the Young’s Modulus of a wire using Searle’s method. Its all-brass construction provides durability, stability, and smooth operation for accurate elasticity experiments.
This apparatus is fitted with a sensitive spirit level placed between two rectangular brass frames. One end of the spirit level rests on a precision micrometer screw, while the other end is pivoted to allow fine adjustment and accurate measurement of wire extension. The micrometer is graduated 10 mm on either side of zero and provided with a 0.01 mm Vernier for precise readings.
Supplied complete with a ceiling bracket, two self-centering chucks, and a tension weight, the apparatus is suitable for schools, colleges, universities, and engineering physics laboratories. Packed in a cardboard box for safe storage and handling.
