This Inclined Plane Apparatus is a useful mechanics laboratory instrument that helps students understand motion on an inclined surface and the role of friction in practical experiments. It provides a clear setup for observing how objects move when the angle of inclination is changed.

The apparatus is made with a sturdy wooden base and a glass or sunmica-topped inclined plane, adjustable from 0° to 45°. The upper board measures approximately 600 × 100 mm and is fitted with a pulley at one end for applying load through a weight pan.

A graduated metal arc is provided for direct reading of the angle of inclination in degrees and the corresponding height in centimeters. Supplied complete with a roller and weight pan, but without a slotted weight set, this apparatus is ideal for mechanics experiments in schools, colleges, and physics laboratories.
